About Us

Spa View Veterinary Clinic was established in Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny by Dan O’Riordan in January 1990. A second branch was opened in Ikerrin Road, Thurles in 1995.

Our professional, compassionate team aim to provide the highest standards of personal care to you and your pet.Both our clinics are accredited with the Veterinary Council of Ireland. This is very important to ensure that we provide the best possible care to you and your pet.

It also gives us a tremendous sense of pride in both the level of service we provide as well as our place of work.

Our dedicated veterinary surgeons are ably assisted by a knowledgable and friendly staff of qualified veterinary nurses and receptionists and we strive to always do the very best for our patients and their owners. We always treat people as we would like to be treated ourselves.

We run an appointment system at both our clinics. However, we will always try and accommodate anyone who is in an emergency situation with their pet. Both clinics are open all day long and we are always happy to assist you in any way we can.

We strive to maintain continuity of care with the same vet looking after your pet, so please feel free to ask for the vet that you would like to see whenever you visit either clinic.

In case of Emergency, a member of our dedicated vet team is always on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including weekends. They can be contacted by telephoning either clinic number.
